A useful, and well-designed item. Just what you need to keep the crusts from getting burned, before the pie is fully done. You DO need a nice place to store them, to keep them from getting mangled if you try to cram them in a drawer, somewhere. If you don't bake pies very often, they will last a long time, if you don't smash them up.

It would be a good idea to save your pie crust if it worked. First time I used it the shield pulled the crust off the pie. Next time I sprayed it with cooking spray and it didn't work much better.
Easy Listener
These are a must have for anyone who bakes pies. Easy to use, effective, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Much easier to use than the rubber/vinyl type shields.
