I was excited to order this pie cutter, and when it arrived, I was pleased at the high quality of it. The only problem is that when I first used it to cut my pie, it didn't penetrate all the way down THROUGH the crust. I've used it twice more now, and it doesn't matter the size of the pie or the type of crust (regular or graham cracker), it will NOT cut through the crust.The only reason I haven't sent it back is because, since it at least cuts through the filling, I can use it to cut lines into the pie so that I have six perfectly-sized pieces. All I have to do is finish the job with a sharp knife to cut the rest of the way through the crust. Oh well...at least it has some use.

But it doesn't work too well with my deep dish pie plate. But it is probably is excellent with a regular pie plate.
