This is the best pie dish I have ever owned (and I own approximately 3 more)I baked an apple pie in this pan, and it came out crisper, more evenly cooked, and better tasting than baked in any of my other pans. I used the exact same recipe. I think it was owing to, the nature of the stone, which wicked away moisture, leaving the crust flaky and delicious... because as far as I know, I didn't do anything differently.I own the white one and I do agree with the other reviewer that it does sort of, wash out the color of the pie... nonetheless, cosmetics aside, its a great dish!

Bought this as a gift for a friend. He loved that it was a deep dish and said it makes beautiful pies. He did say the neutral color wasnt the best because it kinda blends in with the color of the pie.
