I bought these for making up individual pot pies to keep in the freezer for future use. They're a nice size for this, and really are non-stick. I bought two sets so I could make up 8 pies at a time. One good feature is that pies can be frozen in the pans and then popped out to have the pans ready to make the next batch before all the frozen ones are gone. When reheating (in the microwave) I place the individual pies in individual microwaveable serving bowls.

I use small tart pans for my meat pies that I make throughout the year! These are the perfect size for my meat pies. I couldn't find the non-stick pans anywhere until I noticed them on your site. I ordered three sets. Yes, 12 of them. I cook for myself only. I do a lot of chicken and turkey pot pies and freeze them. I also like to do individual quiches and dessert pies and freeze.The tins are not as deep as I had hoped. They would make a perfect pot pie for a child, and a lunch pie for me, but not a dinner pie. I'll continue to use my ramekins for pot pies.However, these are absolutely perfect for quiches and dessert pies. I did eight little pumpkin pies and froze them, after baking. I've done crumb crust apple pie and double crust apple pies. I freeze them raw and take them from the freezer directly to the toaster oven to bake. Hot apple pie whenever I want.Filling your freezer is great for unexpected company. I can quickly bake a pot pie, reheat a quiche, bake an apple pie or defrost pumpkin pie.The non-stick surface of these tins is wonderful. When freezing apple pies or pot pies, that are unbaked, I wrap and freeze them in the tin, then bake them when I want one. For quiches, and pumpkin pies, that are baked, then frozen, they come out of the tin beautifully, when cooled, then I either put them in a container to freeze or wrap them and freeze.
