The Wilton Pocket Pie Mold is so easy to use, and it's actually fun to work with. It's so simple to use, and it's not just for pies and goodies. I love it for making ham & cheese pockets and so many other things I put in it, that I can't say enough about how much we enjoy it. I have often just used bread as the "crust" for when I grill them. Steak and cheese are a snap, however you may want to purchase a couple of them, because you may need them if the family gets involved like mine did. You only need one. but I'm back for 2 more, because my family makes their own, and there are 6 of us. We "Invent" all kinds of yummies with the pocket mold, and I believe you will enjoy it too. Not just because it's fun, but because it really works well, and you can do so much with it. Oh, and the pocket pies are so delicious, I like homemade apple pie filling, but canned is really great too, and you get a lot of them with just one can. I bought these about a year ago for some pop tarts, but after finding out I was allergic to the pie crust recipe I was using I never got around to making them due to not having a good enough pie crust recipe. Recently that changed and today I had some leftover pie crusts so I thought i'd see about making a few pop tarts with the left over dough. It was perfect for gluten free pie crusts, i just oiled the mold, sprinkled some rice flour on it an rolled out the dough to fit the mold. It was super easy! much easier then rolling out the dough, measuring, cutting, filling and pressing, it literally took me 10 minutes to make 5 poptarts! Last time it was a 4 hour ordeal. I will be using these often now that I found my new replacement pie crust.
