I returned this plate because I wanted a true 10-inch pie plate, and this one is really a deep 9-inch size, not 10-inch like the description says. They also measured the depth from the outside, so it is actually 1-1/2 inches on the inside.

This pie plate isn't very big. It seems a standard 9" but isn't very deep. However, I am quite happy with the purchase because it seems sturdy and well made, not too heavy and not too light. Not to mention beautiful. The day I received it I baked a peach pie in it and it looked very nice. When serving, the bottom crust didn't stick to the plate like it does on some ceramic pie dishes. Does the job well and looks good doing it.
