Had a difficult time finding this but have needed something for pies for holidays that works better than aluminum foil or saran wrap. This is much better. I'm not too thrilled that the top is actually connected to the bottom with a thin strip of plastic, but I guess it does keep one from losing the lid. It just makes it a little difficult to wash and dry.

My mom has been wanting a pie carrier to carry her 8" pie plates. She prefers to make two small pies instead of one large for gatherings. I didnt want a big bulky one as she already had something oversized. This was still a touch big, but a much better fit and she was so thrilled that I felt a little guilty i didnt get her a more expensive fancy kind! I wouldnt be surprised if she has me get her another one so they match!
