I have never been a fan of non-stick bakeware, but I bought a pair of these deep dish pie pans just to try. They are wonderful! These pie pans are very heavy and well made, exactly what I'd expect from Cuisinart. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend that anyone who loves to make deep dish pies or savory dishes with crust should buy a pair.

I used my Cuisinart pie pan to make a pecan pie for Christmas. This particular pie always gave me sticking problems with my old Pyrex pie dish. The pecan pie was beautiful in the new pan, and each piece came out neat and clean. Cleanup was very easy. I made a quiche for New Years with equally great results. Neither the pie nor the quiche was "deep-dish", but the crust was easy to roll into an attractive edge about an inch below the top of the pan. I couildn't be happier.

keep in mind that 'non-stick' bakeware generally has a darker finish. This pan is no exception and is darker than the highly rated Cuisinart non-stick pizza pan. You will need to experiment a bit with baking temps and times so as not to scorch your deep-dish pie.One other disadvantage is the small rolled lip. This makes it difficult to 'flute' your crust. Still, this is one of the better ones and is certainly offered at an affordable price. I bought 2 with no regrets.
